Wedding Makeup Artist Terms & Conditions for Bridal Bookings

1. Booking & Deposit:

  • A non-refundable deposit of £50.00 is required to secure the booking for bridal makeup services.
  • The deposit is due immediately of the initial booking and will be deducted from the total balance.
  • Final payment must be made in full at least a week before the wedding date.

 

2. Services Included:

  • Bridal makeup services include full wedding party makeup application including lashes.

 

3. Trial Makeup:

  • A trial makeup session is compulsory . These are £55.00 and to be paid on the date of the trial. Trials should be scheduled at least 3 - 6 months before the wedding date.
  • The trial fee is separate from the bridal booking and is non-refundable.
  • You are responsible for contacting us upon booking in your trial dates .

 

4. Cancellation Policy:

  • In the event of cancellation by the client, the deposit will be forfeited.
  • Wedding cancellations made less than 6 months before the wedding date will incur a charge of 50% of the total booking fee.
  • The makeup artist reserves the right to cancel the booking at any time due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund of any payments made will be issued.
  • Once the number of the party has been booked you can not deduct any party guests as a second makeup artist would of already been booked in for the day. We require a minimum for 4 people each. You will be charged for any party numbers that are deducted.

 

5. Travel & Location:

  • The artist will travel to the venue with a starting price of £50.00 Per makeup artist. For locations outside this radius of 20minutes additional travel fees will apply.
  • The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue allows for makeup services to be conducted on the day of the event.

 

6. Timeliness & Preparation:

  • The client must ensure all individuals receiving makeup are present and ready at the scheduled time for the appointment.
  • If the client is running late, the makeup artist will do their best to accommodate, but it may result in a shortened session, and no discounts will be provided.
  • The makeup artist requires a clean, well-lit, and comfortable space to perform services.

 

7. Allergies & Skin Sensitivities:

  • It is the responsibility of the bride to inform the makeup artist of any allergies or sensitivities to specific products before the makeup session.
  • The makeup artist will not be liable for any allergic reactions or sensitivities that were not disclosed prior to the appointment.

 

8. Liability:

  • The makeup artist will take all necessary precautions to ensure a flawless application, but is not responsible for any damage or issues that may occur after the makeup has been applied.
  • The client agrees to release the makeup artist from any liability or claims related to the makeup service.

 

9. Photography & Social Media:

  • The client grants permission for the makeup artist to take before-and-after photos of the client and share them on social media, websites, or promotional materials unless otherwise specified.
  • If the client prefers not to have their photos shared, they must notify the artist in writing prior to the event.

 

10. Agreement:

  • By booking and paying the deposit, the client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
  • Any changes to the terms and conditions must be agreed upon in writing by both the makeup artist and the client.

          1. What is included in your bridal makeup package?

          Answer: My bridal makeup package includes a consultation, trial makeup session, and the actual wedding day makeup.-

           

          2. Can you do my makeup exactly like the look I want?

          Answer: I can certainly help recreate the look you desire! During your trial, we'll discuss your vision, and I'll adjust to make sure it's perfect for you, considering your skin tone, face shape, and personal style. It's important that we collaborate to achieve a look you feel confident and beautiful in.

          Please be aware that some images you find on the internet you find may have been highly edited which will not be achievable to real life results.

           

          3. How do I prepare for my bridal makeup trial?

          Answer: Before your trial, it’s helpful to bring photos of makeup looks you like, along with your dress and any inspiration. Make sure your skin is well-hydrated and exfoliated.

          if you are considering to have facials before the wedding date please ensure you do the same ready for the trial. and if possible, avoid any new skincare treatments or products in the week leading up to the trial.

           

          4. Products advice for purchase?

          Answer: On the day of your trial you can bring your preferred coloured lip stick. I will also advise some products to purchase on the day too.

           

          5. What products do you use for bridal makeup?

          Answer: I use professional, high-quality makeup products that are long-lasting and designed for photography. I use a combination of luxury brands and trusted makeup lines like MAC, CHARLOTTE TILSBURY, NARS, and others that ensure your makeup will look beautiful throughout the day.

           

          6. How long will my bridal makeup last?

          Answer: Your makeup will last throughout the entire day and into the night. I use long-wearing products, and for added longevity, I use setting sprays and primers to keep everything in place. If you're concerned, I also offer touch-up kits or can stay to provide touch-ups during the event.

           

          7. What should I do if I have sensitive skin?

          Answer: If you have sensitive skin, I will work with you to choose products that are gentle and suitable for your skin type. It’s important to share your concerns during the consultation so I can tailor the makeup application to your needs.

           

          8. Can you do makeup for my bridal party too?

          Answer: Absolutely! I can provide makeup services for your bridal party, including bridesmaids, mothers, and others. I’ll work with you to create a cohesive look that fits the style and theme of your wedding. ONCE THE PARTY NUMBERS ARE CONFERMED THESE CAN NOT BE DEDUCTED OR YOU WILL BE CHARGED.

           

          9. Do you offer touch-up services during the wedding?

          Answer: NO , We do not offer this service. We advice which makeup products to purchase to touch up yourself on the day.

           

          10. When should I schedule my makeup trial?

          Answer: It's recommended to schedule your makeup trial about 3-6 months before the wedding date. This gives you time to make adjustments if needed and ensures we can finalize your look well before the big day.

           

          11. Can I wear false lashes for my bridal makeup?

          Answer: Yes! I can apply individual or strip lashes depending on the look you prefer. Lashes can enhance the eyes and add a glamorous touch for your wedding day.

           

          12. How early do I need to book you for my wedding day?

          Answer: It’s best to book as early as possible to ensure I’m available on your wedding date. Bridal makeup artists often get booked months in advance, especially during peak wedding seasons.

           

          13. How do I keep my makeup looking fresh throughout the day?

          Answer: I will apply a long-wear primer, foundation, and setting spray to keep everything in place. For added longevity, it’s helpful to have a blotting paper or light powder for touch-ups, especially if you're prone to oily skin.

           

          14. Can I have a trial makeup session before committing?

          Answer: Yes, I strongly recommend a trial to ensure you’re happy with the look and feel of your makeup before the wedding day. It allows us to experiment with different styles and make sure everything is perfect.

           

          15. What if I have allergies or specific product preferences?

          Answer: I take allergies and product preferences seriously. During our consultation, we can discuss any sensitivities you have, and I’ll be sure to use products that are safe for your skin.

          Answer: Yes! I always recommend focusing on skincare leading up to your wedding. Make sure to hydrate and keep your skin in good condition. Avoid trying any new products or treatments too close to the wedding to avoid irritation. If you want, I can recommend some pre-wedding skin care specialist for facial treatments.
